Hey there, Firefox user! Still use your poor mouse all day while surfing in internet? Let your mouse have a rest. Keyboard is ready to help your in navigation. Firefox keyboard shortcuts reduce your trips to the mouse and help you in
mouse-less moments. Or maybe you hate moving hand over to the mouse and jumping over to the mouse every time you want to follow a link. Lets check out Firefox keyboard shortcuts. Some of them are well-known. I think they will make your web surfing easier and funnier.

Toolbar and Navigation

  • Select search bar: Ctrl/Cmd+K

  • Select location bar: Ctrl/Cmd+L or Alt+D

  • Back: Backspace or Alt/Cmd+Left

  • Forward: Alt/Option+Right or Shift+Backspace

  • Change search engine: Ctrl/Cmd+Down (Next) +Up (Previous)



Page Searching

  • Find text: /

  • Find link: '

  • Regular old find: Ctrl/Cmd+F



Page Opening

  • Open link in new window: Shift+Enter

  • Open link in new tab: Ctrl/Cmd+Enter

  • Open address/search in new tab: Alt/Option+Enter



Useful Tab Shortcuts

  • Refresh (override cache): Ctrl/Cmd+F5 or Ctrl/Cmd+Shift+R

  • Switch tabs: Ctrl/Cmd+Tab

  • Select tab (1-9): Ctrl/Cmd+[1-9]
